My first big international trip in June 2014 took me to Salvador, Brazil, for the FIFA World Cup. From thrilling matches to breathtaking beaches, this journey was unforgettable. Salvador’s vibrant culture, wild taxi rides, and the experience of watching a live World Cup quarterfinal were highlights.
My time in Kuta was cut short due to the overwhelming hustle, but I did enjoy the beautiful beaches and surfing lessons. I discovered nearby Canggu for a quieter escape, but still found plenty of activities in Kuta like beach relaxation, surfing, and even getting a tattoo.
