My time in Kuta was cut short due to the overwhelming hustle, but I did enjoy the beautiful beaches and surfing lessons. I discovered nearby Canggu for a quieter escape, but still found plenty of activities in Kuta like beach relaxation, surfing, and even getting a tattoo.
After arriving in Canggu, I quickly realized it was the perfect escape from Kuta. This laid-back town offered an authentic Indonesian experience with kind locals, stunning sunsets, and relaxing beach vibes. Exploring via scooter and sampling grilled corn by the beach capped off my unforgettable stay.
After a long five-hour delay in Perth, I arrived in Ubud late at night. The next day, I explored Bali’s culture-filled streets, vibrant temples, and beautiful rice terraces. From cheeky monkeys stealing my eye drops to visiting sacred waterfalls, Ubud delivered unforgettable adventures. Whether you’re sipping Luwak coffee or enjoying a holy bath at the Tirta Empul Temple, Bali offers something unique at every corner.
