My return to Rome has been filled with new adventures and historic explorations, from the stunning views at Palatine Hill to the vibrant streets surrounding the Pantheon. Traveling during COVID offered a unique chance to experience these famous sites without the usual crowds, making this visit truly unforgettable
Leaving Milan for Florence, I enjoyed a scenic 1.5 to 2-hour train ride through Italy’s picturesque countryside, arriving at the historic Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. In Florence, I marveled at the Gothic splendor of the Duomo, crossed the iconic Ponte Vecchio, and took in stunning panoramic views from Piazzale Michelangelo. Next, I headed to Cinque Terre for a refreshing swim and planned to explore the Tuscan countryside with a local guide.
