Next stop on the summer road trip was Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota, spending two days immersed in rugged Badlands scenery, prairie dog towns, and bison herds. This was a fully budget-conscious getaway—no points, no luxury, just scenic drives, free hiking trails, and sleeping under the stars. A perfect blend of frugality and freedom in one of the most underrated U.S. parks.
